Spinners Arms, Chorley

For the past two years, Spinners Arms has proudly been part of the SC Leisure Limited family, growing into a welcoming venue at the heart of the local community.

Combining a friendly traditional pub atmosphere with great service, entertainment, and quality food and drinks, Spinners has become a place where friends and families can relax, socialise, and enjoy good times together.

Over the last two years we’ve been proud to build a strong community spirit at Spinners Arms and we look forward to continuing to grow and welcome both familiar and new faces for years to come.

The Bay Horse, Chorley

We took over The Bay Horse in February 2026 and The Bay Horse was turned into a welcoming and friendly venue at the heart of the local community straight away. 

Blending traditional pub values with a modern atmosphere, The Bay Horse offers a place where friends, families, and locals can come together to enjoy good company, entertainment, and a relaxed social setting.

We are proud to continue building a strong community spirit at The Bay Horse and look forward to welcoming both regular customers and new faces for many years to come.

We are proud to have established thriving venues across the North West and now the North East, with South Yorkshire hopefully next. Our current locations — including The Blue Bell in Stanley and The Moorings in Chester-le-Street, both opening soon — are testament to our success in transforming pubs into beloved community spaces. Each venue offers a unique atmosphere, built on our commitment to strong management and a welcoming environment for all.

The Blue Bell Stanley County Durham 

Once a proud local pub at the heart of Kip Hill, the Blue Bell begins a brand-new chapter. After years as a Turkish restaurant, SC Leisure Limited are proudly restoring this historic venue back to its traditional pub roots — creating a warm, welcoming place for the whole community to enjoy once again.

Exciting new beginnings

The SC Leisure Limited family is growing! We have exciting new venues opening soon. Look out for our upcoming pub in Bishop Auckland opening in June, a new venue in Birtley also in June, and another in Stanley in July. These new locations will continue our tradition of creating family-friendly establishments where excellent food, drink, and community connection are paramount.

Welcome Back to the Station Hotel

After being closed for the past few years, the Station Hotel, Bishop Auckland is preparing to reopen its doors and begin an exciting new chapter under SC Leisure Limited.

Our vision is to create a modern community hub while keeping the warmth and character of a traditional local venue — somewhere everyone can relax, dine, socialise, and enjoy great entertainment.

We’re excited to bring life back to the Station Hotel and welcome both familiar faces and new visitors once again to Bishop Auckland.

 Red Lion, Birtley

A new chapter is on the horizon for one of Birtley’s well-known local pubs. The Red Lion has long been a place for the community to come together, and SC Leisure Limited are excited to continue and build on that tradition from June 2026.

The Red Lion will remain a true community sports pub — a place for friends, teams, and local events to thrive.
